The AWT Group will again be presented at the Transport Logistic 2019 trade fair

  • May 30, 2019

From 4-7 June of this year, the AWT Group, a member of PKP CARGO Group, will take part at the seventeenth Transport Logistic in Munich, which is the largest transport-logistics trade fair in Europe. Our partners and customers are invited to the stand of PKP CARGO in hall B6, where the group will present their services, strategy and objectives in the coming years to current and potential clients.

This international trade fair for logistics, mobility, IT and supply chain management provides visitors with a complete view of the entire process chain of the transport and logistics industry. It takes place every two years in Munich and the leaders of the logistics world regularly meet there.

“The leading European Transport Logistic trade fair is an opportunity for us to introduce the new strategy of the PKP CARGO Group and our services in rail freight transport, shipping, intermodal transportation and fleet management. All the major companies in the transport industry make presentations here and the fair is visited by many current and potential customers. Our goal is to appear together with our parent company PKP CARGO in front of our competitors, customers and partners as a strong group with tradition, experience and know-how, and present ourselves here as one of the most important rail freight carriers in Europe,” says Maciej Walczyk, the Chairman of Board of AWT.

AWT has been regularly presented at the Transport Logistic trade fair since 2009, and since 2017 we have also appeared at the joint stand of PKP CARGO.

The Strategy that the group wants to present here notes that we have been a market leader in Central and Eastern Europe for at least five years thanks to achieving the number one position in the Three Seas initiative, or the pan-European north-south transport corridors. PKP CARGO is also trying to acquire a dominant position on the routes of the New Silk Road within the European Union. In both cases, this involves both the volume of transported cargo and transports carried out. The leading position which the Group aspires to occupy by 2023 should be consolidated during 2023-2038.

“We see our participation at this important event as a proven method of presenting the companies of the AWT Group. We will strengthen our current business relations in Munich, but above all we want to establish new contacts in the transport business,” says Viktor Bystrian, the CCO of the AWT Group.

The AWT Group will be present at the stand of the PKP CARGO Group, which visitors to the trade fair will find in hall B6, number 113/214.
