  • 11. 11. 2019

PKP CARGO INTERNATIONAL, a Czech company belonging to the PKP CARGO Group, received the first refurbished wagons with a new branding. The cars were repaired by the PKP CARGOTABOR Rolling Stock Repair Plant in Kluczbork.

The rebranding implementation process at PKP CARGO INTERNATIONAL (formerly AWT) has been going on for a month. New colors and logos appear on the company’s rolling stock, as well as in its headquarters and other facilities. Yesterday, represenatives of the company collected in Kluczbork 10 refurbished Falls wagons with a new branding.

The delivery of the first wagons refurbrished by PKP CARGOTABOR, in the colors and with the PKP CARGO INTERNATIONAL logo is the beginning of another milestone in the implementation of rebranding of our company. Thus, we achieve the synergy effect in the entire PKP CARGO Group, which through uniform branding of all its companies is even better recognized in the European markets. I hope that our rolling stock in new colors will also help strengthen the company’s business position in providing logistics services in the international area – said Maciej Walczyk, Chairman of the Management Board of PKP CARGO INTERNATIONAL a.s.

At the same time, at the PKP CARGOTABOR Rolling Stock Repair Plant in Kluczbork, which performs, among others repairs and modernization of wagons at the level from P1 to P5, construction and assembly works in the new paint shop were completed.

The novelty in the paint shop is the possibility of covering the wagon with paint both from the side and from the bottom. The paint shop was also equipped with a new cabin for drying wagons – says Joachim Cichos, director of the PKP CARGOTABOR Rolling Stock Repair Plant in Kluczbork.

The works in the paint shop were carried out by AWT Rekultivace from the PKP CARGO INTERNATIONAL Group.

The completion by AWT Rekultivace of construction and assembly works in the new paint shop of the PKP CARGOTABOR plant in Kluczbork is a clear proof of the excellent cooperation of subsidiaries of the PKP CARGO Group. Our company is constantly expanding its operations in Poland, not only by implementing projects for companies from the Group, but also by addressing the offer of comprehensive services in the field of reclamation and construction works to interested parties – said Kamil Holenda, Chairman of the Management Board of AWT Rekultivace a.s.
