PKP CARGO INTERNATIONAL (formerly AWT), a member of PKP CARGO Group, which is a leading logistics operator in Europe, has accepted, today in Česká Třebová, the first locomotive of the 753 series with a new look. The regular repair of the locomotive and new paint were provided by CZ LOKO.
The 753 series locomotive of PKP CARGO INTERNATIONAL now has the same look as the locomotive of the parent Group PKP CARGO in Poland. In order to maintain the uniform visual style of the fleet, PKP CARGO INTERNATIONAL will gradually give all its locomotives and railcars the same colors.
Interesting is the unconventional shade of paint on the roof, which is typical for all locomotives of PKP CARGO. Thanks to our experienced team of workers in the paint shop, the work was done in the expected quality and time frame. Polyurethane coatings were used for the topcoats. The logos and technical designations of the locomotives were stuck to the surface on vinyl film.
“The new paint on our locomotives in the colors of the parent Group PKP CARGO is the next step in the ongoing rebranding of the company. Bringing the name and look of PKP CARGO INTERNATIONAL in line with companies in the group is intended to better reflect our activities on railways in the EU and strengthen our bond to PKP CARGO Group. The single branding of all locomotives will make us even more recognizable to European markets, and having our fleet in blue colors will help consolidate our position in the provision of logistics services to the international transport market,” says Maciej Walczyk, chairman of the Board of Directors PKP CARGO INTERNATIONAL.
On 11 November of this year, the company accepted the first repaired railcars of the Falls series with the new blue branding. The repair and painting of these cars was carried out by PKP CARGOTABOR, a Rolling Stock Repair Shop in Kluczbork, Poland.
