Repeating last year’s success, the AWT Group has made it on to the list of the 100 most admired businesses operating in the Czech Republic. In the category Transportation, auxiliary services in transportation, and travel agencies, the Group defended its second position behind Student Agency. The prestigious rankings have been published for the fifteenth time by the association Czech TOP 100.
Czech TOP 100 compiles the list according to a poll taken among top managers of prominent companies, representatives of trade union organisations, financial and economic analysts, trade associations and professional unions. The rankings emphasise key parameters, such as innovation capabilities and the quality of products and services, the company’s value over the long term, the attitude of the company towards its people – the ability to attract and keep talented employees and the quality of management – and their relationship to the community, support provided by the company to the region it operates in, whether the enterprise is operating in an environmentally and socially responsible manner, the company record in publicly beneficial and charitable projects, company transparency and quality of communication, and so forth. The final list of the Czech TOP 100 companies is comprised of businesses that have placed among the top four in each segment.
In successfully retaining second place in its category, AWT Group drew on more than sixty years of history in its field of business and consolidated its position on the market as the biggest Czech and European private transporter. Repeating last year’s result, ŠKODA AUTO a. s. was declared the winner of the prestigious rankings, beating ČEZ a. s. into second place, with AGROFERT HOLDING a. s. taking third.
