On Monday, 12 May, PKP Cargo International took delivery of its second Vectron MS from Alpha Trains in Paskov. Vectron number 6193.589 is identical to 6193.590, which has been in service for about two years.
This machine will support international operations in the Czech Republic-Slovakia-Hungary-Slovenia corridor with a possible connection to Italy, which is possible thanks to its equipment.
Just two days after entering service, the ‘frog’, as the carrier itself named these Vectrons because of their colouring, became popular. The first journey took place to Rajka as a regular intermodal train from Halkali in Turkey to Kolín in the Czech Republic, and on Friday the Vectron appeared in Velké Kozmálovce, where it took over a complete set of new wagons for car transport.
